Created by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) has emerged as a widely accepted system of standards to evaluate the environmental performance of building and design projects.

LEED Accreditation signifies individuals' knowledge of green building design, practices, and strategies, as defined by the LEED Green Building Rating System™. The presence of a LEED Accredited Professional on the design team of a project earns an important and valuable point towards the certification of a building.
